With the holidays quickly approaching (here in America), I wanted to speak to a topic that I have first-hand experience with. Thanksgiving is all about being grateful and thankful, but what about when you truly don't feel that gratitude in your life? What does it mean when you look around and cannot see anything to be thankful for? Whether pain, hurt, loss, or disappointment in blocking your view, there can be many reasons we struggle to practice gratitude. And listen, I get it. I was there.

In today's episode I'm sharing how to practice thankfulness in the middle of truly difficult seasons. So if you're in the middle of a hard season right now or the holidays tend to be difficult for you, give this episode a listen for practical ways to find just one thing to be grateful for. Remember, it's all about small shifts.

I'll share some of my story from a particularly hard season I was in right around the holidays and also give some practical advice for shifting your perspective (just briefly) to look around and notice for maybe the first time in a while what all is actually there to be thankful for.

Here's the link to episode 10 where I share more about our journey to getting pregnant that I mention in today's episode.

If you enjoyed this episode, please rate & review the podcast! I would be super GRATEFUL if you did ;) In all seriousness, rating and reviewing the podcasts helps more moms like you find episodes just like this one! Thank you for listening, sharing, and helping me spread this message of hope & light to mamas around the world!
